Before you can install a license, you need to obtain the license and license password information. To do this, contact technical support. License information will be sent to you via FAX or regular mail. Once you receive this information, you can install the license using License Manager.To install a license:Click the Install button in the main License Manager window.A dialog box appears asking you which type of license you want to install. Look on the license information sheet for the type of license you are installing.Select FLEXlm Concurrent, FLEXlm Nodelock, or NetLS.The Install License form appears.Type in all requested information.Click the Apply button.The new license is installed.If you installed a FLEXlm Concurrent license, you may need to restart the server to activate the license.LBL="" HELPID="lm_update"ID="30074"Updating a LicenseIf a license expires, contact technical support to obtain a new license password. You can then use License Manager to update the license.To update a license:Select the license you want to update.Click the Update button.The Update License Password form appears.Type in the new password and expiration date.Click the Apply button.The license is updated.LBL="" HELPID="lm_delete"ID="45610"Removing a LicenseYou may need to remove a license that you no longer need.To remove a license:Select the product name.Click the Remove button.If you do not have root access, you may be required to enter the root password. If this is the case, type in the root password, then click the OK button.Another dialog appears asking you if you really want to remove this license.Click the OK button to remove the license.
